getting a 173 on the lsat - my study schedule

I don't understand why it would not be. The difference between the may test date and the june one is a few weeks. I was originally signed up for april and put in the may flex group but now im thinking of signing up for june in case it gets moved to flex as well. Pretty good chance it will be, but keep in mind the time between the tests might not be the most salient, but rather the time between the decisions.

It's possible June will be cancelled. Lsat flex may only have been implemented because the people who were taking March and April needed their results for this application cycle. Everybody registered for June is still able to wait and hope for a live testing. I think they'll opt for the flex format over canceling the June test altogether, judging by what they've said publicly.

Yeah I don't see why they wouldn't do this given that their primary competitor the GRE is offering at-home tests across the board. If it works well the first time, there's no reason to give it as an option again.

A lot of schools pushed back their applications in order for people to still be able to apply. The last test they are accepting is June for this cycle. Luckily I already have a score on file. I just want to improve. So worst comes to worst, I'm just stuck with a crappy score. I'm taking it in June though. A lot of schools are still accepting June lsatalso because international applicants can only take the test in March or June so since the March one was cancelled I know a lot of schools are accepting the June lsat.

LSAC really needed another option for May since it's the last test in the cycle. June is an early test in the cycle, so they might just cancel it in favor of July since there's less of a rush as far as they're concerned. It depends how well Flex works out and how much proctoring is costing them. They'll probably wait to see how that goes before making a decision.

Especially with the recent controversy surrounding schools taking flex scores. I do believe there was a post on this sub a few days ago detailing how certain schools in the upper tiers were not taking flex scores.

Feel free to link the post, but if there were any set of schools that were guaranteed to take Flex scores, it would be upper tier ones. It would be horrible PR for them if they were like "sorry, we don't care about pandemics.Got questions? Post a submissionor check out these sites:. I've gotten a ton of questions from students about LSAT-Flex, so I decided to make a post compiling the most common ones. Happy to update with more info as questions come up. In other words, LSAT-Flex scheduling for previous administrations was available several hours before the initially-announced scheduling time of 12PM Eastern.

Originally scheduled for November 14, it's been moved approximately one week earlier. Most will take it that Saturday Nov 7Sunday Nov 8Tuesday Nov 10or Wednesday Nov 11with some taking it later that week if they have special remote proctoring considerations. We will now allow test takers to use a regular or mechanical pencil, or a pen, while taking the LSAT-Flex. You will still need to show your writing utensil s to the proctor during the check-in period. More on LSAC's site here and in this post. LSAC called many of those affected and offered them a refund for July, a free retake in August or through Apriland 4 free law school reports.

In my view, this is not nearly enough given a screw-up of this size, and LSAC should do much more for these test-takers. LSAC has not made an official written public announcement to students. However, they did provide a statement to the National Law Journal saying that those affected will have the option to take a makeup exam sometime in the next week or so.

Most will take it that Saturday, Sunday, Monday.Between May and early October, candidates have successfully completed more than 77, LSAT-Flex assessments, enabling them to continue their law school journeys. We are using the experiences from each LSAT-Flex administration to make future administrations even better.

We know how important the LSAT is to candidates and schools, and also to fairness and integrity in law school admission, which advances access and equity in legal education. We appreciate your patience and flexibility as we all work through this extraordinary COVID situation together. Most test takers will test on either Saturday, November 7; Sunday, November 8; Tuesday, November 10; or Wednesday, November 11, with a small number of tests occurring later in the week based on specific remote proctoring requirements.

Currently, we are targeting Tuesday, November 24, as the score release date for all test takers, regardless of when they test during the week of November 7.

We strongly recommend test takers complete LSAT Writing at the earliest possible time so that their scores can be released on time. You can take the LSAT-Flex in any quiet, well-lit, private work area you choose, so long as it has a hard work surface and a strong, stable internet connection. If you need assistance with a quiet or private room in which to test, please make note of your situation after you register. Please complete this form no later than Sunday, October 18,p.

ET, so that we can work with you to try to address your needs. We will open the scheduling sign-up process about two weeks before the first day of testing in November. We will send more information and instructions to test takers prior to that time. Yes, test takers can choose the time that works best for their schedules from the available options.

Registrants will be notified of the date when sign-ups for specific dates and times will open. Test takers who prefer to test at a certain time of day, or who need a specific start time due to other obligations, should sign up as early as possible, as slots are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. To provide broad availability to test takers, LSAT-Flex can be accessed by test takers with a laptop or desktop computer with either a Windows or Mac operating system.

It is very important to have a strong and stable internet connection in order to have a successful remote testing experience. For candidates who do not have the necessary computer equipment or other necessary hardware, we will work with them to try to provide loaner devices or other solutions if appropriate.

Eastern Time, Sunday, October 18, We will work with these candidates to try to address their needs. We understand that some candidates may not have access to a quiet or private room in which to take a remotely proctored test, particularly during this time of disruption and social distancing due to the COVID emergency.

Eastern Time, Sunday, October 18,so that we may work with them to try to address their needs. LSAC is committed to expanding opportunity and access for candidates who continue to be underrepresented in legal education and the legal profession. Even as we are administering the LSAT-Flex as an emergency measure to provide a safe testing alternative during the current public health emergency, we are very much aware that the COVID crisis is having a disproportionate impact on many communities.

It is composed of genuine LSAT questions that have been developed and tested in accordance with our rigorous standards and processes. To meet the anticipated demand and the needs of the remote testing solution, LSAT-Flex is composed of three minute scored sections compared to the four minute scored sections plus an unscored section in the traditional test. The test takes approximately 2 hours for standard test takers. The individual questions and individual sections have similar levels of difficulty as a typical LSAT.

Some people may feel more pressure because they believe that the smaller number of total questions means that each question has a bigger impact. Some people may see taking an online test in their own home as a benefit; other people may see taking an online test in their own home as a source of more distraction. Given how the COVID emergency has made in-person testing temporarily impossible, we are offering an at-home test to address the needs of candidates and schools.

Due to the demands of live online proctoring, the LSAT-Flex had to be designed so it could be accomplished in approximately two hours without a break. We know that the security, integrity, and validity of the LSAT are important to candidates and schools, so we are taking many steps to ensure the security of the LSAT-Flex. The video and audio feeds are recorded in case further review is necessary. We encourage you to learn more about the technical requirements of the remotely proctored exam and to test your equipment as soon as possible using the information and tool on this page.

Generally, your desktop must be clear of anything not test-related and should only have:. Each of these items must be held up and shown to the proctor during the security check-in procedure. Both sides of each sheet of scratch paper must be shown to the proctor and destroyed in camera view upon test completion. You may wear an analog nondigital wristwatch.Got questions? How is everyone feeling? Harder, easier, moderate?? Very curious about everyone's experiences. Well good luck to you. I did my test yesterday, and i feel like. I'm not going to be looking forward to my score. RC was especially difficult for me, and to boot, of course it was just my luck that reading comp is my least favorite and that was my very first section.

The proctoru portion was seamless for me, and i did not interact with my proctor for the duration of my test, she was super pleasant and efficient. Great remote experience but difficult test. Hi there : I just finished the test I have not had a test in that order, even during my PT's. I ran out of time on RC and LG made me sweat. LG is my strongest section, so I am slightly worried.

I feel like I let the pressure and time get the best of me but am hopeful my months of practice somewhat paid offCART AND INDY RACINGOutright Race BettingThe Field includes any driver who is not listed. I loved the experience from the time I booked until the time we left Iceland. It was a flawless experience. Loved, loved, loved it.

Loved my rental car. Loved my maps, loved the highlighted route that Hilmar did for us. From the onset, the communications with Nordic Visitor were really good.

We were able to select the tour that best fit our needs and the experience was extraordinary. In our particular case, there were two labor strikes at KEF that had an impact on our arrival and departure times. Nordic Visitor notified us before the airline about the strike and the impact on flight scheduled, adjusted our tour schedule to accommodate us and even make up some of the lost time.

While on day 2, they called the tour guide and notified him of our schedule change the following day due to the second labor strike at the airport. The two key events on our short stay were absolutely fantastic, even to the point of us doing it again. The people were wonderful, helpful, and the tour out of this world exciting. Whatever good expectations we had were vastly exceeded by the quality and dedication of Nordic Visitor.

We would absolutely go to them again for our next and future visits to Iceland and other Nordic countries.

The tour guides in each city were charming and very knowledgeable. The accommodations were lovely and the included breakfasts at each hotel and on the ship were generous and delicious.

The trip was well organized and we had a fabulous time. Perfect planning, consultance, preparations and support by Nordic Visitor.

All (from site to emails) is clear, to the point, practical and responsive. Everything moved like clockwork although the rugged country and tricky weather are not easily manageable. Iceland has endless beauty to offer, Icelanders are few but friendly, sensible and thorough and so the outcome was a smooth and fantastic trip. Also, food throughout was excellent and little Reykjavik is as creatively trendy as any hype metropolis. It was all very convenient, the service was always friendly, and I always had my questions answered.

This was the best service I've ever experienced. Everyone was nice, everything was simple, and I had the best vacation of my life (despite the uncooperative weather). Our trip was amazing. The hotels and day trips were all very good. Hilmar was brilliant before we flew out to Iceland. Always very quick to respond, friendly and very informative with any questions we had.

Was so lovely to have a bottle of champagne and lovely chocolates waiting for us in our room when we arrived. It made the start to our honeymoon very special. We even got to see the Northern Lights too on our second attempt.

Superb holiday - thank you so much. We found the whole experience excellent. There was a lot of driving, yet stress free apart from a blizzard.Popular countries Loading list.
